Environmental Aspects In Public Procurement Contracts

Abstract

This study aims to elucidate the authority of contracting entities in establishing mechanisms designed to safeguard the environment from the adverse impacts associated with the execution of public procurement contracts. It delves into the fundamental environmental principles embedded within these contracts, both pre- and post-award. Furthermore, the study delineates the environmental standards that must be incorporated during the pre-contractual and concurrent phases of contract formation.
