Sustainable Energy Transition In Algeria: Factors Influencing Investment

Abstract
The population growth in Algeria has led to an increase in energy demand. In order to meet these growing needs, Algeria must diversify its resources to ensure energy security. As a result, investment in energy transition has become a priority for the Algerian government. In this context, the country plans to implement a mixed energy system that combines both fossil fuel and sustainable sources. This article aims to analyze the current state of renewable energy in Algeria and identify the key factors that promote this type of investment. By understanding these factors, we can better grasp the challenges and opportunities associated with energy transition in Algeria. Résumé La croissance démographique en Algérie a entraîné une augmentation de la demande en énergie. Afin de répondre à ces besoins croissants, l'Algérie doit diversifier ses ressources pour assurer sa sécurité énergétique, c'est pour cela l'investissement dans la transition énergétique est devenu l'une des priorités du gouvernement Algérien. Dans cette optique, le pays prévoit de mettre en place un système énergétique mixte, combinant à la fois des sources d'énergie fossiles et des sources durables. Cet article se propose d'analyser l'état actuel des énergies renouvelables en Algérie et d'identifier les facteurs clés qui favorisent ce type d'investissement. En comprenant ces facteurs, nous pourrons mieux appréhender les enjeux et les opportunités liés à la transition énergétique en Algérie.
