Abstract
In this study we tried to study the Audio-visual translation (Dubbing and subtitling), that attracts the majority of translators nowadays. We focused on the techniques that translators use in dubbing and subtitling of English. Our research contains: meaning of Audio-visual translation, Types, Stages, Techniques and its role, and replace the cultural shipment in translation.
