Women's Political Empowerment: A Theoretical Study Of Impediments And Avenues For Progress

Abstract

This paper aims to shed light on the role of women in political development by discussing the obstacles to its being put into practice, and by analyzing and monitoring the determinants of the relationship between women's active participation in political life and its implications for women's development initiatives .This is the central question the study has attempted to answer. Based on the main premise that there is a relationship between women's political empowerment and development, the conclusion being that the study identifies the most important mechanisms and means to contribute to the promotion and development of women's role in political development.
