Abstract
Abstract .The study highlights a crucial factor in border studies; this factor has the potential to shift power balance especially amidst the current developments within the international system. Artificial Intelligence notably plays a pivotal role in border surveillance, enhancing national security and addressing security threats. This technology relies on simulating human intelligence through the use of data and advanced analysis methods. The techniques of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including the use of smart systems for intrusion detection and automatic analysis of images and videos, have been adopted in border monitoring in many countries. However, these technologies face challenges such as privacy. While in Algeria, geographical and natural conditions may pose additional challenges.
