Authors : Kalouaz Zoulikha .

Abstract

The human sciences have tried to build their own curriculum concerned with studying man as a phenomenon and a subject of knowledge, based on the development of experimental methods in the sciences of physics, nature, and chemistry over the past three centuries, i.e. 18, 19, and 20, when great figures emerged in the field of science. We mention: Galilei. Newton, Einstein, Max Planck. As for It gradually began to separate from the topics of philosophy, influenced by the development witnessed by modern Western philosophy, which reshaped the cognitive system of all sciences. However, the human sciences, despite their attempt to build their own knowledge system, were unable to definitively move away from the philosophical theoretical level, which is characterized by the nature of abstraction. On the other hand, the development of curricula in the human sciences was linked to the basic roles played by intellectuals and philosophers in European universities, where the model of the sociologist Bourdieu emerged. The human sciences also relied in their development on mathematics, which is characterized by accuracy.Interpretive philosophy was also present, which attempted to frame these sciences from a methodological standpoint. Other models also appeared with Dilthey, who attempted to provide a materialistic explanation for human phenomena. We concluded the article by presenting some scientific perceptions for the advancement of the human sciences.
