Abstract

This study aims to identify the currently dominant cultural profile in Algerian start-ups focused on exportation activities. By using the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), the study also seeks to predict the cultural orientation that the managers of these organizations perceive as necessary to develop in order to meet the demands of the international business environment. Based on research conducted on a sample of 125 Algerian startups, the results revealed the prevalence of a clan-oriented culture emphasizing values of human flexibility and organizational commitment. However, the future perspective for these studied startups leans towards an entrepreneurial Adhocratic organizational culture, characterized by flexibility, adaptability, and a predisposition for innovation.
