The Impact Of Urban Heat Islands On The Elderly: Role Of Vegetation And Population

Abstract
The scientific literature concerning a studied phenomenon is always manifested by evolutions through recent studies. With regard to environmental sciences, it is necessary to update the various results that have been the subject of all climatic phenomena, in particular urban heat islands. The fight against urban heat islands was treated through a set of scientific research during the twentieth century, but the importance of the phenomenon in the eyes of researchers has been accentuated in the 21st century. It was necessary to update the results and references presented later. The literature review that will be presented in this article is characterized by a diversity of disciplines (climatology, urbanism, ecology and public health) that are related to the phenomenon studied. However, this article will be devoted only to the theoretical part of the study because the empirical part is at the beginning of realization.
