Implications Of Child Kidnapping Crime For Community Security In Algeria

Abstract
This research paper aims to illustrate the implications of the crime of kidnapping for the child, the family, and society in our present time. It is a new crime; rather it has existed in all societies since ancient times. However, its recent spread in Algerian society has made it the concern of most families. Given the accompanying attacks on victims, which amount to murder? Additionally, this crime threatens Algerian society's entity and stability and forces the public authorities to act to confront it, which calls for research and scrutiny in its various aspects. In this context, our analytical study, in which we used the descriptive approach to attempt to characterize the crime of child kidnapping and identify the motives and consequences of its commission. Furthermore, we have concluded through our study that all individuals, families, civil society associations, official institutions, and all relevant bodies should be involved in any prevention strategy against the crime of child kidnapping to ensure social security in Algeria.
