Résumé L’agriculture algérienne avait connu des mutations importantes et des transformations foncières dû aux différents bouleversements historiques et politiques qu’avait traversé le pays. De nos jours, les systèmes d’information géographique (SIG), peuvent jouer un rôle important dans la représentation du territoire. Ils permettent une visualisation de la situation actuelle mais également une projection future incluant les grandes lignes d’aménagement et les grands projets de territoire. La cartographie a pour avantage de modéliser chaque entité étudiée, pour finalement aboutir à un document de synthèse pour être utilisé à des fins analytiques. Cette nouvelle technique de gestion offre la possibilité d’exploiter le maximum d’informations pertinentes et ce grâce au Système de Gestion de la Base de Données (SGBD). Le SIG combiné à la cartographie va donc nous permettre de réaliser des documents montrant la recomposition socio territoriale de la région d’OuedZénati, au Nord Est Algérien (Wilaya de Guelma), dans le but d’apporter un développement territorial local pour réaliser un développement durable. Abstract Algerian agriculture hadundergone major changes and land transformations due to the varioushistorical and politicalupheavalsthathadtaken place in the country. Today, geographic information systems (GIS) canplay an important role in the representation of the territory. Theyallowavisualization of the current situation but also a future projection including the main developmentlines and the major territorial projects. Mapping has the advantage of modelingeachentitystudied, ultimatelyresulting in a synthesis document for use for analyticalpurposes. This new management technique offers the possibility to exploit as much relevant information as possible thanks to the Database Management System (DBMS). GIS combinedwithmappingwillallow us to produce documents showing the socio-territorial recomposition of the Oued Zénatiregion in north-eastAlgeria (Wilaya de Guelma), with the aim of bringing local territorial development to achieve a sustainabledevelopment.
