Analyzing Arabic speech regarding the function of sentences is called ‘sentence parsing’ (I’raab al-Djumal, إِعْرَابُ الجُمَلِ). It helps to analyze the sentence structure, namely that of complex sentences. The purpose of this study is to investigate types of Arabic clauses based on their function in the context. Using descriptive and analytical methodologies, this study syntactically analyzes Arabic sentences. Moreover, this paper aims to clarify the concept of parsing clauses. The study reveals that clauses in Arabic language are divided into two main categories: (1) grammatically cased clauses and (2) grammatically caseless clauses.
