The History Of Psychology In Arab And Islamic Civilization And Its Challenges In The Modern Era

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to explore the field of psychology and its developmental stages, with a focus on the contributions of Arab-Islamic civilization in this field, The historical method was used to understand and analyze its evolutionary stages by presenting the most important contributions of Muslim scholars in psychology based on the classifications and opinions that were studied and authored in various social and cultural contexts, Additionally, the material aspect that accompanied these achievements, represented in architectural engineering and facilities such as hospitals and clinics, was utilized in the service of psychiatric and psychological fields, The researcher also aimed to present the most significant challenges facing psychology in the modern Islamic world based on different intellectual foundations, serving individual values on the basis of integration and compatibility with other civilizations and nations, scientifically benefiting humanity as a whole. ملخص الدراسة : هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف ميدان علم النفس ومراحل تطوره، مع التركيز على إسهامات الحضارة العربية الإسلامية في هذا الميدان. تم استخدام الأسلوب التاريخي لفهم وتحليل مراحله التطورية من خلال تقديم أهم إسهامات العلماء المسلمين في علم النفس، استنادًا إلى التصنيفات والآراء التي تمت دراستها وتأليفها في سياقات اجتماعية وثقافية متنوعة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم استغلال الجانب المادي الذي رافق هذه الإنجازات، والمتمثل في الهندسة المعمارية والمرافق مثل المستشفيات والعيادات، في خدمة الميدانين النفسي والطب النفسي. وكذلك، كانت هناك غاية للباحث في تقديم أبرز التحديات التي تواجه علم النفس في العالم الإسلامي الحديث، استنادًا إلى أسس فكرية مختلفة، وذلك بهدف خدمة القيم الفردية على أساس التكامل والتوافق مع حضارات وشعوب أخرى، مع تحقيق فوائد علمية لصالح الإنسانية بشكل عام.
