Unveiling The Silent Threat: Bioterrorism As A Genuine Global Biosecurity Threat

Abstract
Abstract: The study of the complex and interconnected relationship between biosecurity and bioterrorism aims in several ways to raise awareness of the silent threat of bioterrorism, as a genuine biosecurity threat and advocates the necessity of understanding the intersection between biosecurity and bioterrorism, within the framework of global security policies. By recognizing its secretive nature and the potential for devastating consequences, this study debates the challenges associated with detecting and preventing bioterrorist attacks, as well as the Risks for governments and international organizations in effectively combating bioterrorism. Furthermore, it explores the implications of bioterrorist attacks, including the potential for widespread panic, economic disruptions, and strain on healthcare systems. As well as, Bioweaponization poses a profound and multifaceted threat to both international security and public health. The repercussions of such activities can result in a health crisis, substantial human casualties, and severe economic and security ramifications in global biosecurity. :الملخص تستدعى دراسة العلاقة المعقدة والمترابط بين الأمن البيولوجي والإرهاب البيولوجي زيادة الوعي حول فهم تهديد الإرهاب البيولوجي باعتباره تهديدًا خفيا وحقيقيًا للأمن الحيوي ككل، وهذا كمسعى بحثي من أجل فهم التقاطع بين الأمن البيولوجي والإرهاب البيولوجي في إطار سياسات الأمن العالمي؛ ومن خلال إدراك طبيعته السرية واحتمالية حدوث عواقب مدمرة قد تنجم عن كتهديد؛ كما تناقش هذه الدراسة التحديات المرتبطة برصد الهجمات الإرهابية البيولوجية وسبل منعها، فضلاً عن المخاطر التي تواجهها الحكومات والمنظمات الدولية في مكافحة الإرهاب البيولوجي بشكل فعال. علاوة على ذلك، فإنه يستكشف الآثار المترتبة على الهجمات الإرهابية البيولوجية، بما في ذلك احتمال انتشار الذعر على نطاق واسع، وارتداد الاضطرابات الاقتصادية، والضغط على أنظمة الرعاية الصحية، كما يشكل التسلح البيولوجي تهديدا عميقا ومتعدد الأوجه لكل من الأمن الدولي والصحة العامة؛ ويمكن أن تؤدي تداعياته إلى أزمات صحية، وخسائر بشرية كبيرة، وأثار اقتصادية وأمنية خطيرة على الأمن البيولوجي العالمي.
