Adaptive Control Of A 4-dimensional Memristor-based Chua's Circuit.

Abstract

In this paper, we shall study the dynamics of a 4-dimensional memristor-based Chua's circuit, particularly we demonstrate its hyperchaotic behavior using Lyapunov spectrum and phase portrait. Since chaos and hyperchaos is considered as an undesirable behavior in various scientific domains such as econometrics, robotic, weather and climate science and so on, we propose to eliminate the chaos and hyperchaos behavior from this circuit using an adaptive control with unknown parameters. We prove the obtained results using the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally numerical simulations have been reported to illustrate the main results for the proposed adaptive control of memristor-based Chua's circuit.
