التنبؤ بمستوى الاكتئاب لدى عينة من مرضى السرطان في ضوء بعض المتغيرات

الملخص
الملخص باللغة العربية: تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الاكتئاب لدى عينة من مرضى السرطان البالغين (20-60) سنة في المركز الوطني للأورام التابع للمستشفى السلطاني في سلطنة عمان، وكذلك التنبؤ بمستوى الاكتئاب لدى عينة من مرضى السرطان تبعا للمتغيرات (نوع السرطان، مدة الاصابة، نوع العلاج المستخدم)، استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، حيث تم تطبيق مقياس بيك للاكتئاب على عينة الدراسة والتي تكونت من (153) مريض من مرضى السرطان البالغين (20-60) سنة، توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الاكتئاب جاء بدرجة (متوسطة) لدى مرضى السرطان، كما أنه لا يمكن التنبؤ بمستوى الاكتئاب لدى مرضى السرطان تبعا ل(نوع السرطان- نوع العلاج- مدة المرض). في نهاية البحث أوصت الباحثتان بالاهتمام بالدعم النفسي لمرضى السرطان وذلك بتوفير كادر متخصص في الجوانب النفسية لمساعدة المرضى في فترة العلاج. Abstract: The study aims to identify the level of depression in a sample of adult cancer patients (20-60) years old at the National Cancer Center of the Royal Hospital in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as to predict the level of depression in a sample of cancer patients according to the variables: (type of cancer, duration of injury, type of treatment). The researchers used the descriptive approach, where the Beck depression scale was applied to the study sample, which consisted of (153) adult cancer patients (20-60) years who were receiving treatment at the National Cancer Center at the Royal Hospital. The study showed that depression came in a (moderate) degree in cancer patients, and it is not possible to predict the level of depression in cancer patients depending on (the type of cancer - the type of treatment - the duration of the disease). At the end of the research, the researchers recommended paying attention to psychological support for cancer patients by providing a staff specialized in psychological aspects to help patients during the treatment period
