Authors : Merigui Tarek .

Abstract

The Yemeni religion emerged from an environment in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, where it permeated the life of the ancient Yemenis through the construction of public and religious temples, irrigation facilities, houses, cemeteries, etc. in the name of deities, under their patronage, and remains under their protection, because the religious belief since the inception of human civilization is the moral motivation of man in the life he It dyes all manifestations of culture and civilization with its spiritual color, and saturates it with a general character of faith. And in the Kingdom of Sheba, which is considered one of the strongest tribal unions in ancient Yemen, it was able to form a strong civilization, where the religious belief had a great impact on the life of the Sabaeans, both spiritual and material, as it had imprints on various fields of life, as they see in the gods what makes them go to worship them and draw closer to them. By carrying out various ritual rites, they present offerings to her, but sometimes they offer her their forts, towers, homes, land, and even themselves, in a desire to gain her favor and approval, and a request for protection.
