Violence In The Algerian School, Its Forms, Factors And Prevention

Abstract
Violence is an old phenomenon that has its roots in the depths of history until it reaches before the beginning of human existence on the surface of the earth. The story of Cain and Abel has the most prominent example of this which witnessed the first murder in history. Violence has many practices and forms within our society, including our various upbringing institutions including the family and the school. The latter, which has transformed from an educational institution where the system prevails and has moral rules and values through which it controls the behavior of students and ensures the good conduct of the educational process, has become a witness to various methods of violence and to different degrees. The phenomenon of school violence has become a serious problem in recent decades in many countries, especially when it comes to imbalances in the value system, especially in its social and educational dimension. Therefore, this research paper, which dealt with the phenomenon of school violence, sought to understand the reality of the problem, its causes and the most important factors that feed it, all in order to address this phenomenon by limiting its spread and preventing it.
