This article presents a contribution of interface continuum steel-concrcte ofthe reinforccd concrete structures behavior. To simulate the behuvior ofthis sensible zone. the bond behavior is modeled by smeared springs along the steel and surrounding concrete contact. The numerical implementcuion consists o] incorporating the tensions in springs in the law constitutive (d' the steel reinforcements in the form of shear stresses. This technique is implanted in a numerical progrum already conceivedfor modeling ofthe reinforced concretc structures behavior. The trcated numerical examples show the agreement of the results ofthis simulation and the analytical method.
