Western Sociological Theory And The Problem Of The European Projection On Arab-islamic Societies

Abstract
This research seeks to illustrate the challenges associated with the African projection of Western Sociological Theory onto Arab Islamic societies. Arab Muslim scholar Abdulrahman Ibn Khaldoun was the first to develop the rules of Sociology, naming it "Human Urbanization and Human Sociology." From the outset, the name reflects the subject matter of this science and encourages research; it did not designate it as the exclusive domain of any particular society. However, AugusteCount renamed it social physics to imply that the science of this science is associated with this science due to its emphasis on observation and experience. Then he decided on the term sociology, and the subject of this study, the social phenomenon which was introduced by Emile DaurKheime. After that, research continued in this field by Western thinkers who developed a theory based on their findings; the Arab and Islamic world became a recipient of knowledge rather than a producer; ; thus, the problem rose here “what are the cognitive and methodological frameworks for constructing a sociological theory through which we can address the socio-Arabic-Islamic reality?” تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تسليط الضوء على اشكالية الاسقاط الامبريقي للنظرية السوسيولوجية الغربية على المجتمعات العربية الاسلامية، فحقل علم الاجتماع أول من أرسى قواعده هو المفكر العربي المسلم عبد الرحمان ابن خلدون وأسماه علم العمران البشري و الاجتماع الانساني فالتسمية من البداية تعبر عن موضوع هذا العلم ودعى الى ضرورة البحث فيه، ولم يجعله حكراً على مجتمع بعينه، لكن بعده جاء أوجست كونت فأسماه الفيزياء الاجتماعية تيمناً بالعلوم التجريبية واعتقاداً منه أن علمية هذا العلم ترتبط بهذه العلوم لأنها تركز على الملاحظة والتجربة و بعد ذلك استقر على تسمية علم الاجتماع، ولم يظهر الموضوع الخاص بهذا العلم إلا على يد اميل دور كايم ألا وهو الظاهرة الاجتماعية، و بعد ذلك استمرت الأبحاث في هذا الحقل العلمي و تطورت النظرية على يد المفكرين الغرب و بناءاً على أبحاثهم وأصبح العالم العربي و الاسلامي متلقي للمعرفة و ليس منتجاً لها، و الاشكال الذي يطرح نفسه ما هي الأطر المعرفية والمنهجية لبناء نظرية سوسيولوجية نستطيع من خلالها معالجة الواقع الاجتماعي العربي الاسلامي ؟
