Abstract

Abstract : This study aims at showing the negative effects of medical wastes on the health security through diving into the damages caused by this waste to the general health of individuals and the surrounding environment. It also seeks to shed light on health security in Algeria, and to show the country’s efforts to enhance it. It has been concluded that the increase of medical waste that we witness currently represents a real threat to health and environment safety of the country. In addition to the mismanagement of this waste, which leads to increasing its health risks. الملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز الآثار السلبية للنفايات الطبية على الأمن الصحي، وذلك بالتطرق إلى الأضرار التي تلحقها هذه النفايات بالصحة العامة للأفراد والبيئة المحيطة، كما تسعى إلى تسليط الضوء على الأمن الصحي في الجزائر، وإبراز مساعي الدولة من أجل تعزيزه. وقد تم التوصل إلى أن تزايد النفايات الطبية بالشكل الذي نشهده حاليا، يشكل تهديدا حقيقيا للأمن الصحي والبيئي للبلاد، كما أن سوء تسيير هذه النفايات يؤدي إلى زيادة مخاطرها الصحية.
