الملخص
عرف الأدب العربي الحديث والمعاصر ظهور عدة الأجناس أدبية وفنية جديدة، وذلك بعد الاحتكاك بالغرب، ومن هذه صدارة تلك الأجناس نجد الرواية، الّتي تبناها كثير من أدبائنا العرب. ومع هذه النقلة النوعية الّتي مسّت فنون الأدب، ظهرت دراسات نقدية تحاول التأسيس لهذا الجنس لإرساء قواعده في الثقافة العربية. ولمّا كان الأصل فيها أجنبيا سواء فيما يتعلق بالجنس الروائي كفن إبداعي، أو على مستوى الممارسة النقدية المصاحبة لهذا الجنس من نظريات ومناهج، أخذت البحوث تطرح مجموعة من القضايا المنصبة أساسا في هذا المجال، سالكة طرقا مختلفة، ومنطلقات متباينة في العملية النقدية. ولعل أكثر قضية تصادفنا بهذا الصدد هي ترجمة المصطلح الّذي تمخضت عنه إشكالية كبيرة، فراح النقاد يترجمونه ويعرّبونه كما يرون حسب كل اتجاه، دونما تحسّب للنتائج المنبثقة عن هذا التعدد. Modern and contemporary Arabic literature witnessed the emergence of several new literary and artistic genres, after contact with the West, and at the forefront of these genres we find the novel, which was adopted by many of our Arab writers. With this qualitative shift that affected the arts of literature, critical studies appeared trying to establish this genre in order to establish its foundations in Arab culture. And since the origin of it is foreign, whether with regard to the genre of the novel as a creative art, or at the level of critical practice associated with this genre in terms of theories and methods, the research sought to raise a group of issues that are mainly focused in this field, taking different paths and different starting points in the critical process. Perhaps the issue we encounter the most in this regard is the translation of the term, which resulted in a great problem, so the critics began to translate it and Arabize it as they saw it according to each direction, without taking into account the results arising from this plurality.
