الملخص

الملخص: تبحث هذه الدراسة في موضوع يخص مدى إمكانية انضمام الجزائر لمجموعة "البريكس"، في ظل الظروف الدولية الراهنة إثر الأزمة الأوكرانية وتزايد مكانة هذه المجموعة في الاقتصاد والتحالف الدولي، وغيرها من الأسباب الدافعة بالجزائر لطلب العضوية فيها، كما تناقش المتطلبات القائمة حيال الانضمام لهذه المجموعة، ومن ثم البحث في مكاسب هذا الانضمام في حال ما تم قبول الجزائر كعضو جديد، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن هناك رهانات وتحديات أمام الجزائر وجب عليها الإيفاء بها من أجل الظفر بقبولها كعضو جديد في مجموعة "البريكس". Abstract: This study examines the possibility of Algeria joining the BRICS group, in light of the current international conditions following the Ukrainian crisis and the rising power and influence this group reached in both the global economy and the international politics. The reasons that are driving Algeria to seek membership in this emerging group as well as the existing requirements for that are discussed in this paper. In addition, this study tries to uncover the benefits Algeria may gain in case it is accepted as a new member. And finally, this study concludes that in its quest for a full BRICS membership, it is facing a set of challenges that needs to overcome and conditions to meet in order to win the group’s approval.
