By presenting two major experiences in the field of peer-to-peer lending, this study intends to illustrate the role of financial technology in promoting financial inclusion by providing complementary financing choices that suit varied conditions. The study demonstrates the significance of P2P lending platforms in bridging the funding gap that occurred in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, as well as their contribution to promoting financial inclusion and supporting digital finance, which would assure long-term financing.
