The Constitution is regarded as the law on which the ruling regime relies. It organizes the relation among the state's different bodies in accordance with the principle of legitimacy in the way of protecting rights and liberties, although it is not eternal, that is why every constitution provides some norms on the procedure for its revision, which must be respected when a constitutional revision is required in a state of the constitution is the expression of its supremacy over all existing standards in a given legal order. Therefore, the procedure for revising a constitution must take certain rigidity, unlike an ordinary law. In order to guarantee the validity of the constitutional revision and its objectives, which are primarily concerned with improving or rather reforming the constitution, it is also necessary to safeguard its supremacy, including its rigidity, for this reason, the power of revision must be limited in a reasonable manner, that is, any constitution must contain provisions concerning principles that must not be modified or revised, these restrictions are limits. This research paper focuses on the main issues of the power of constitutional revision.
