Obama's Strategy Against Isis In Iraq

Abstract
Abstract: This research paper seeks to study and analyze the nature of Obama's strategy in confronting ISIS in Iraq.It aimsto examine the most important reasons why the Obama administration adopted an offensive containment strategy based on limited military intervention, and rejected the involvement of U.S. ground forces in the battle. Which calls for a full-scale war that has slowed the U.S. response and delayed the resolution process.This research also aims to demonstrate the objectives the U.S. seeks to achieve from that strategy. الملخص تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية لدراسة و تحليل طبيعة إستراتيجية اوباما في مواجهة تنظيم داعش في العراق ، و بحث أهم الأسباب التي دفعت إدارة اوباما إلى تبني إستراتيجية الاحتواء الهجومي التي تقوم على التدخل العسكري المحدود ، و رفض انخراط القوات البرية الأمريكية في المعركة ، مما يستدعي خوض حرب شاملة واسعة النطاق تسبب في بطئ الاستجابة الأمريكية و تأخر عملية الحسم ، و تبيان الأهداف التي تسعى لتحقيقها من تلك الإستراتيجية .
