The Books And The Libraries In The System Of Cultural Industries The Experience Of Algerian Public Libraries As A Model

Abstract
This research paper aims to study the place of books and libraries within the system of cultural industries, especially in the presence of great competition with technology outputs such as TV, cinema, etc… where we present the most important theories interpreting the phenomenon of cultural industries and their contribution to the economy, and we cite a set of figures and statistics provided by organizations or countries. As well as, the study addresses the most important endeavors and experiences that are keen to preserve the place of writers and libraries within the cultural industries system. We also focus on the experience of Algerian public libraries in this field.
