الملخص

The aim of this research is to shed light on the reality of the applications of information and communication technology in Algeria, during the time period 2009-2014, and to identify the extent to which Algeria has become ready for reducing the digital gap and integration in the digital economy, through the analysis of the indicators of the Global Report of information technology, 2014, on one hand, as well as discussion on the basis of the principles of the draft "Algeria electronic commerce", on the other hand. This study traits one of main applications of information and communication technology, namely: e-commerce. This one contributes to social and economic development of any State, could be extended their influence to build the digital economy or what is known as the intangible economy, which in turn reduces the digital gap between States.
