This paper aims to identify the various sources of the organizational stress, and its impact on the employees’ performance within the organisation. This study is based on empirical work results, that was carried out at the faculty of economics, commercial and management sciences at the University of Guelma. The results confirmed the existence of moderate stress causes. Nevertheless, they are affecting significantly the faculty professors’ performance, especially workload and lack of an effective communication system.
