العينات عبر الانترنت في البحوث الاجتماعية

الملخص
تعتبر عملية اختيار العينات في البحوث العلمية مرحلة أساسية في جمع البيانات، كما أن اختيارها في الفضاء الرقمي لا يقل أهمية عن اختيارها خارجه، مع وجود بعض الاختلافات بين النوعين من المعاينة من حيث طبيعة المنطق الموجه لطرق اختيارها عبر شبكة الإنترنت وخارجها. مع الإشارة إلى أن لعملية اختيار العينة في البحوث الاجتماعية عبر الإنترنت مميزات وتواجهها تحديات. تشمل المزايا الوصول السريع إلى المستجيبين في جميع أنحاء العالم بتكاليف منخفضة وبجهد أقل ومعدلات استجابة أفضل أحيانا. أما التحديات فتشمل محدودية التحكم في عملية اختيار العينات وتنفيذ البحث، فضلاً عن التحيز في الاختيار وفي التغطية. توضح هذه المقالة من خلال استطلاع الأدبيات المتخصصة بعض تقنيات اختيار العينات في البحوث الاجتماعية للحصول على عينة مناسبة باستخدام ميزات الإنترنت وتقليص سلبياتها. Abstract: The process of choosing samples in scientific research is an essential step in gathering data, and its selection in the digital space is no less important than its selection outside it, with some differences between the two types of sampling in terms of their logics guiding sampling in online and offline space. Noting that the sampling process in online social research presents both advantages and challenges. Advantages include quick access to respondents all over the world at low costs and with less effort and –sometimes- better response rates. Challenges include a lack of control over both the sampling process and research implementation, as well as selection and coverage bias. This article describes through a survey of the specialized literature some online sampling techniques for social research that allow researchers to reach appropriate samples using Internet advantages, and minimizing its risks.
