البعد الحضاري في المعجم العربي الحديث – المنجد في اللغة والأعلام أنموذجا –

الملخص
ملخص: يحتل المنجد في اللغة والأعلام مكانة سامية في المكتبة المعجمية والعلمية والثقافية، فهو جهد باحثين وخدام اللغة العربية الخالدة. وينقسم هذا المعجم إلى قسمين: القسم الأول خاص بالمفردات وشروحاتها على الطريقة الألفبائية، بالإضافة إلى ملحق ضم شروحات ألفاظ ومصطلحات حديثة الاستعمال. أما القسم الثاني فقد خصص للتعريف بالأعلام والأماكن والأشياء وغيرها فكان من أكبر النوافذ المطلة على العالم بكل منجزات البشر البادية في البيئة والمعرفة والثقافة. الإشكالية: هل استطاع هذا المنجد كما جاء في الديباجة أن يتخطى ما وقعت فيه المنجزات المعجمية السابقة؟ وهل يمكن دراسة هذا المعجم المتميز بالوقوف على أبعاد حضارية من مادته الوفيرة؟ وقد تبين من خلال الدراسة أن معجم المنجد في اللغة والأعلام خطوة إلى الموسوعية في زيها الحديث متناولا في ذلك الكثير من الأبعاد الحضارية، بطريقة مباشرة وغير مباشرة، وهو بلغة العصر شبكة عنكبوتية غنية وثرية تقدم المعلومة دون شحّ ولكن باختصار في الغالب لكثرة المواد الموجودة ولوظيفته التي وضع لها أساسا. سواء في قسم الألفاظ أو قسم الأعلام. Abstract: The cultural dimension in the modern Arabic dictionary-- Al-Munjid fī al-lughah wa-al-aʻlām dictionary as a case study. Al-Munjid fī al-lughah wa-al-aʻlām occupies a lofty position in the lexical, scientific, and cultural library, as it is the effort of researchers and servants of the eternal Arabic language. This dictionary is divided into two parts: the first section is designed for vocabulary and their explanations which are arranged in the alphabetical manner, in addition to an appendix that includes explanations of new words and terms. As for the second section, it is devoted to introducing the flags, places, things, and others. It is one of the largest windows onto the world; i.e., a window which overlooks on most of the visible human achievements in different domains, such as environment, knowledge and culture. Research question Was this dictionary, as stated before, able to go beyond the previous lexical achievements? Is it possible to study this distinguished dictionary by examining the civilized dimensions of its plentiful material? By the end, the research has come to the conclusion that Al-Munjid Dictionary is a step towards the encyclopedia in its modern dress that addresses many cultural dimensions directly and indirectly. In other words, it is a rich web that provides valuable information, but mostly summarized to cope with the large number of existing materials; be them, in the vocabulary section or the flags section.
