الملخص
تتناول هذه الدراسة العلاقات الإيرانية الفرنسية في الفترة (1801–1809)، في بداية هذه العلاقة حصل تقارب إيراني فرنسي ، وكانت لكل من إيران وفرنسا أهدافها الخاصة للتقرب من بعضهما. كانت ايران تأمل من وراء هذا التقارب السياسي الحصول على المساعدة الفرنسية لانتزاع جورجيا و مناطق أخرى من السيطرة الروسية. أما هدف فرنسا من وراء ذلك هو مساعدة إيران لها للاستيلاء على الهند وبذلك تطورت الأمور بينهما إلى أن توجت بعقد اتفاق تعاون بينهما سنة 1807، إلا أن التطورات السياسية التي شهدتها القارة الأوربية أدت إلى فشل العلاقات الدبلوماسية الإيرانية - الفرنسية بحلول نهاية سنة 1807، إثر عقد فرنسا معاهدة تلست مع روسيا. المصادر التي اعتمدت في هذه الدراسة أغلبها مؤلفات وتقارير إيرانية، هذه الدراسة ألقت بعض الضوء على صراع القوى العظمى على الشرق والتي شكلت محوره كل من الدولتين الإيرانية والعثمانية. The current study deals with the Iranian-France relations during Fatah Ali Shah Qajari . At the beginning of their relations, a sort of affinity happened between both Iran and France as a result of the appearance of Napoleon on the political stage of Europe also the distribution of conquests in most regions of the World. Both Iran and France had their own objectives as well as purposes behind their relations. On the one hand, Iran became weary of British supports for standing against Russia avidity, hence, Iran wanted to have relations with France in order to take Georgia also some other areas from Russia. On the other hand, France with the aid of Iran, was looking for an opportunity to control India, which was at that time considered the pearl of the British crown. The Iranian-France diplomatic relations had been developed until they came over a corporation agreement in 1807. According to the references that we depended on them in our paper most of them are writings and reports in Farsi.
