In the light of the growing of demand for the university education, There is also some voices calling for the need of developing and its access to the levels of better quality, it has become necessary to implement quality assurance standards and accreditation by institutions of higher education to maintain the outstanding performance of these institutions, and to keep up with scientific developments and knowledge, which calls for universities to rethink the educational process in order to raise the efficiency of higher education and improve its components. In this context, the study was an attempt to view and extrapolate the experiences of achieving quality and accreditation in a number of Arab and foreign countries where they were addressed to the study of the global trend towards the application of quality and ensure accreditation in higher education institutions by identifying the conceptual framework for quality assurance and accreditation and Showing the most important efforts of Arab and international attempts that have been made in this context.
