الملخص
After the start of the Algerian Revolutionary war in November 1954 and its geographical extension and the increase of its military operations against the colonial forces, the French authorities began to take some measures in order to face the satiation in Algeria. Among these measures, passing exceptional law slake emergencies in April 03rd,1955. and building detentions. In this article, we are going to speak about the detention of "EL Djorf" located in the region of " EL Hodna" which was considered as one the most important detentions made by authorities in Algeria during the Revolutionary war. In addition to this, we are going to show the difference between a detention centers, camps and prisons. Moreover, We are going to talk about the location of "EL Djorf" detention and how was its foundation, administration and life inside it through the treatment of the drainers and the different tortures used there struggle.
