Résumé
RESUME Cet article présente un état des lieux compréhensif de la pratique documentaire relative à l’usage des systèmes mondiaux d’indexation et de récupération de l’information. Dans le premier volet sont exposées brièvement les fiches techniques de ces thésaurus documentaires encyclopédiques et sectoriels internationaux permettant d’accéder en ligne aux collections d’une série de grandes bibliothèques nationales à travers le monde. Dans le second volet, il est fait état de l’usage qui en est fait, du niveau de connaissance et du taux de pénétration de ces outils langagiers dans un échantillon d’une dizaine de bibliothèques universitaires en région algéroise. L’étude conclue à une flagrante sous utilisation de ces outils tant dans la pratique de l’indexation que dans la recherche et la récupération de l’information. et montre l’ampleur de cette défaillance aux effets néfastes sur la rentabilité des investissements documentaires et son impact négatif sur la qualité de l’enseignement et la recherche. ABSTRACT This article presents a comprehensive inventory of documentary practice relating to the use of global information indexing and retrieval systems. In the first part are briefly exposed the technical sheets of these instruments as tools for indexing and retrieving information providing online access to the collections of a series of major national libraries around the world. In the second part, the use made of these language tools is reported in a sample of ten university libraries in the Algiers region and their penetration rate in these latter. The study concludes with a flagrant underuse of these tools as well in the practice of the indexing as in the research and retrieval of information, and shows the extent of this failure with harmful effects on the profitability of documentary investments and its negative impact on the quality of teaching and search. مستخلص يتناول هذا المقال جردًا شاملاً للممارسات الوثائقية المتعلقة باستخدام أنظمة التكشيف واسترجاع المعلومات العالمية. في الجزء الأول يتم عرض الأوراق الفنية لهذه الأدوات بإيجاز كأدوات للتكشيف واسترجاع المعلومات التي توفر الوصول عبر الإنترنت إلى مجموعات سلسلة من المكتبات الوطنية الكبرى في جميع أنحاء العالم. في الجزء الثاني ، ورد استخدام هذه الأدوات اللغوية في عينة من عشر مكتبات جامعية في منطقة الجزائر ومعدل انتشارها في هذه الأخيرة. وتختتم الدراسة بقلة استخدام هذه الأدوات بشكل صارخ في ممارسة التكشيف كما في البحث واسترجاع المعلومات ، وتبين مدى هذا الفشل مع الآثار الضارة على مردودية الاستثمارات الوثائقية وأثرها السلبي على جودة التدريس والبحث العلمي
