The aim of this article is to provide a perception of a legal theory in the age of globalization which responds to the political, economic and social transformations, and provide the major principles of legal regulation beyond the nation-state. After showing the transformations of the legal rationality and its evolution from a formal rationality in the liberal state, and substantive rationality in the welfare state, towards a reflexive rationality which respond to the contemporary transformations in the normative production and application in post regulatory state, which evoke the debates about the autonomy of legal systems, which can appear between autonomy and dependency.
