الملخص
Abstract This paper aims to discuss the current situation of the Arab universities and social crisis, economic, scientific desperation, by identifying the most important causes and of the low scientific research, the problem of content and quality, the dependency of scientific foreign universities, rigidity of the methodology of university education, lack of funding, in addition to the impact of the phenomenon of globalization and its implications to higher education in general and university education in particular, and then try to search for solutions to address these negative effects. The findings of this paper to the need for total renewal of the Arab universities, both at the level of philosophy, goals (scientific research, education, community service), styles (Virtual University, Open Education,...) restructuring of the educational process, methodology and Massadraltmuel, and the need to establish accreditation bodies And quality assurance at the level of each university to follow up and monitor the quality of outputs and compliance with international standards.
