Over time an impassable chams has opened up between the old and new Christian communities. The refusal of the other resulted in a fierce clash betxeen the two sides. And, in the end, the Moriscos ended up accepting that their life in the native land had ended and, they had no other way but to leave for new horizons, with all the fear that came with it. Thus, we will see how these Moriscos, victims of intolerance experienced a situation where they sought refuge and recognition of their own existence.
