الملخص: منذ تأسيس منظمة العمل الدولية (1919)؛ تزايدت وتيرة النشاط النقابي بشكل واسع على مستوى البلدان الأوروبية وكذا مستعمراتها. وعلى الصعيد الوطني، شهدت الجزائر، والتي كانت تعيش ثورة تحريرية آنذاك، ميلاد أول نقابة للعمال الجزائريين بتاريخ 24 فبراير 1956، وهي الاتحاد العام للعمال الجزائريين. وقد شكلت هذه الأخيرة منظمة جماهيرية حقيقية لتأطير العمال الجزائريين بغض النظر عن انتمائهم المهني أو القطاعي. تأسيسا على ذلك، يطرح التساؤل التالي: ما هي الدوافع الحقيقية وراء تأسيس الاتحاد العام للعمال الجزائريين خلال حرب التحرير الجزائرية، هل كانت الدوافع مهنية بحتة أم أنها لم تكن سوى تجسيد لخطة عمل سياسية؟ ومنه، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد الطبيعة الحقيقية للاتحاد العام للعمال الجزائريين زمن حرب التحرير الوطنية، وكذا إبراز مساهمتها المحورية في تفعيل العمل التحرري والثورة المسلحة. وهي تشمل محورين رئيسيين: يتناول أولهما العلاقة التفاعلية بين العمل التشريعي لمنظمة العمل الدولية في مجال الحرية النقابية والعمل النقابي على الصعيد الوطني. والثاني منهما يهدف إلى تحديد الطابع السياسي للاتحاد العام للعمال الجزائريين خلال ثورة التحرير الوطنية؛ منظمة مهنية للدفاع عن حقوق العمال أم منظمة جماهيرية لتأطيرهم وتعبئتهم لصالح العمل التحرري في الجزائر؟ Abstract: Since the advent of the International Labour Organization (1919); trade union action increased quite significantly at the level of the European countries as well as the countries colonized by the latter. At the national level, Algeria, a country at war, experienced on February 24, 1956 the birth of its first union of Algerian workers; it is the General Union of Algerian Workers. The latter constituted a real mass organization bringing together Algerian workers regardless of their affiliation and whatever their sector of work. Therefore, the following question arises: What were the real motives involving the establishment of the G.U.A.W.. during the Algerian war of liberation, were they purely professional motives or was it really a political action plan? Thus, this study aims to determine the true nature of the G.U.A.W. in time of the war of national liberation, as well as to demonstrate its political contribution in the liberation action of Algeria. Subsequently, it includes two main axes, the first of which deals with the interactive relationship between the legislative action of the I.L.O. in the field of freedom of association and trade union action at the national level. And the second of which aims to determine the political character of the G.U.A.W.; A mass organization aimed at the supervision and mobilization of workers in favor of national liberation action.
