Whoever pursues the Arabic Narratives cannot deny that the Arabic novel has gone a long way in dealing with the issues of the Self and the Other, primarily the Jewish Other. It enlightened the great and the critical impact of the relationship between the Arabic 'Self' and the Jewish 'Other', as a result of the political events and the rise of the national tone concerning the issues of identity and citizenship. Through the two novels: (Me and Haim) by Habib Al-Sayeh and (The Gold’s Bath) by Muhammad Issa al-Maddeb, we have tried to explore this problematic, which balanced between the sympathy with Jews as people living in the same place, regardless of religion from one hand, and the reservation granted from the 'Other' as an enemy or the labeling of the Jewish Enemy (mainly associated with Zionism) and its threat to Arab nationalism from the other hand
