Investigating The Content Based Perspectives Of The Literature Circles On The Students’ Literary Response

Abstract
This study investigates the content based perspectives of the literature circles on the reader response. The study was carried out as an experimental research with a total of 60 second-year students at the department of English Language and Literature at Mohamed Lamine Debaghine, Setif2 University. The study concluded that the literature circles are effective in developing students’ abilities to understand, interpret, and respond to a literary text. Besides the implementation of this strategy, a number of related recommendations were suggested. تركز هذه الدراسة على تنفيذ "الحلقات الأدبية" كاستراتيجية لتحسين استجابة القارئ وتحليل النص ومهارات التفسير في تدريس النصوص الأدبية. أجريت الدراسة كبحث تجريبي حيث شارك في الدراسة 60 طالباً في السنة الثانية من قسم اللغة الإنجليزية وآدابها بجامعة محمد لمين دباغين -سطيف 2. في نهاية التجربة عندما تمت مقارنة نتائج الاختبار القبلي والبعدي لاستجابة الطلاب للقراءة، لوحظ فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية و بناءً على نتائجه، حيث أن "الحلقات الأدبية" فعالة في تنمية قدرات الطلاب على فهم النص الأدبي وتفسيره والاستجابة له، جانب تنفيذ هذه الاستراتيجية عبر الطلاب عن زيادة في الثقة بالنفس، والتعلم التعاوني، والتفكير النقدي.
