الملخص
This paper aims to clarify the relationship between the direct investment with its different components and economic growth in Algeria during the period 1970-2012. We attempt to model this relationship using a Cointegration methodology and some quantitative econometric methods. The results showed that there is reel effect of private investment and the government investment growth rate as well as exports on the economic growth. The most important results that can be drawn are: first, direct investments are a fundamental factor and have a positive impact in raising economic growth. Second, private investment is more effective than government investment in supporting growth. Third, exports contribute to greater economic growth than public and private investment.
