الملخص
Abstract: Madaure or Madauros (currently known as Mdaourouch) is one of the historical cities that has attracted many outstanding people, who in turn contributed to the writing of history, such as Apuleius, the author of the first novel in history “The Golden Ass”, became the first novelist, Saint Augustine also also proposed the first biography in the West, as well as Madour’s grammarist Maxime of Madure and Archmartyr Nymphamun of Madaure, the first martyr in Africa who were tortured and killed for Christianity. What pulled in me most with regards to this city is the school from which every one of these personalities and others was graduated, which some accept is like the oldest university in Africa and the second university after Rome. It filled in as a focal point of civilizational radiation in North Africa, which made individuals of the city and the encompassing regions to send their children to study and get an undeniable degree of instruction in writing, language, sentence structure, and so forth. Thus, our review centers around concentrating on the main characters who moved on from this historical school, and clarifying the role and achievements of each one of them. الملخص: تعد مادور Madaure أو مادوروس Madauros (حاليا يطلق عليها مداوروش Mdaourouch)، من المدن التاريخية التي كان لها الفضل في إنجاب واستقطاب العديد من الشخصيات البارزة، الذين ساهموا بدورهم في كتابة التاريخ، مثل أبوليس مؤلف أول رواية في التاريخ "الحمار الذهبي" وبالتالي يكون أول روائي، والقديس أغسطين الذي قدم أيضا أول سيرة ذاتية في الغرب، إلى جانب النحوي ماكسيم المادوري والأرشمارتير نامفامون المادوي أول شهيد في أفريقيا يُعذب ويُقتل من أجل المسيحية. أكثر ما شدني في هذه المدينة هي تلك المدرسة التي تخرج منها جميع هؤلاء وغيرهم، والتي يعتقد البعض أنها أقدم جامعة في أفريقيا وثاني جامعة بعد روما. كانت بمثابة مركز إشعاع حضاري في شمال أفريقيا، مما جعل سكان المدينة والمناطق المحيطة لإرسال أطفالهم للدراسة وتلقي تعليم عالي المستوى في الأدب واللغة والقواعد وما إلى ذلك. ومن هنا تأتي دراستنا بالتركيز ودراسة أهم الشخصيات التي تخرجت من هذه المدرسة التاريخية، وتوضيح دور وإنجازات كل واحد منها.
