الملخص
This study deals with the reality of textual linguistics in contemporary Arab studies, by tracing the accumulation of knowledge produced by modern Arab sources that combine the legacy of the past with the present of modern Western curricula. It aims to highlight the impact of this accumulation on the contemporary Arab linguistic scene on the one hand, and to reveal the features of the linguistics of the text in contemporary Arab writings on the other hand, so that this study concludes that the reality of text / discourse linguistics in contemporary Arab studies despite the cumulative achievements it has achieved Knowledge, but it did not reach the corrective stage that its Western counterpart has reached, and this is due to the attempt to adapt the Arabic grammatical proposals inherited in modern Western textual rules and principles, and to the textual terminological problem that left its negative impact in the advancement of the contemporary Arabic textual lesson.
