الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى محاولة تسليط الضوء على أهم الملاحظات حول عمل مجلس الأمن الدولي خلال تكييفه للأفعال كعدوان و بالتالي اعتبارها تهدد السلم و الأمن الدوليين، وقد حاولنا بداية تقييم السلطة التقديرية لمجلس الأمن في تحديد وقوع العدوان طبقا لميثاق الأمم المتحدة، ثم تقييم دور مجلس الأمن وفقا لأحكام نظام روما الأساسي، و قد ختمنا دراستنا بخاتمة تضمنت النتائج و التوصيات. Abstract: This study aims to attempt to shed light on the most important observations regarding the work of the UN Security Council when adapting actions as aggression and thus viewing them as a threat to peace and international security. We tried first to assess the discretionary power of the Security Council to determine the occurrence of aggression in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, and then to assess the role of the Security Council in accordance with the provisions of the Rome Statute, and we concluded our study with a conclusion that included findings and recommendations.
