الملخص: تعتبر قضية الخلافة من بين القضايا التي شغلت بال المسلمين على مر العصور، كتب حولها العلماء والفقهاء، ومن بين هؤلاء نجد الشيخ محمد رشيد رضا الذي تزامت حياته مع الحلقة الأخيرة من مسلسل الخلافة العثمانية حين أقدم مصطفى كمال أتاتورك على إلغاء الخلافة وإعلان قيام الجمهورية التركية،كانت له عدة مواقف بشأن الخلافة العثمانية قبل وبعد إلغائها ومستقبل نظام الحكم السياسي الذي ينبغي أن ينتهجه المجتمع الاسلامي.فالشيخ محمد رشيد رضا يرى بأن مصطفى كمال قد خرج من الدين عندما ألغى الخلافة، وبقي على رأيه حتى وافقته المنية، بقي يطالب بضرورة إعادة إحياء الخلافة. Abstract: The issue of Al-khilafah is among the issues that occupied the minds of Muslims throughout the ages. Scholars and jurists wrote about it, and among these we find Mohammed Rachid Rida, whose life coincided with the last episode of the Ottoman Caliphate series when Mustafa Kamal Ataturk abolished the Khilatah and announced the establishment of the Turkish Republic. He had several positions regarding the Ottoman Khilafah before and after its abolition and the future of the political system that should be followed by the Islamic community. Mohammed Rachid Rida believes that Mustafa Kemal has left the religion when he abolished the Khilafah, and he remained on his opinion until his death agreed, he kept calling for the need to revive the Khilafah .
