Authors : Sebki Wafa .

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the impact of corruption on poverty in a sample of 42 developing countries for the period (2004-2019) using the dynamic panel data estimators. The resulting estimates using the two step system GMM estimator indicate a positive relationship between corruption and poverty and thus corruption plays a pivotal role in increasing poverty levels in developing countries.
