الملخص
مارس واستمتع أفراد مجتمع مقاطعة نوميديا على غرار نظرائهم من سكان مقاطعات الإمبراطورية الرومانية على امتدادها، بمختلف الأنشطة والألعاب الرياضية التي كانت معروفة في تلك الحقبة التاريخية الموغلة في الزمن، كما أن هذه المقاطعة تجهزت بعمارة الألعاب مثل المسارح والمدرجات والملاعب التي كانت تؤدى فيها العروض الرياضية المتنوعة مثلما تدلنا عليه المخلفات الأثرية لهذه المباني فضلا عن المعطيات المستخلصة من النقوش واللوحات الفسيفيسائية التي كشفت عنها التنقيبات الأثرية المقامة بالمنطقة. ABSTRACT : The community members of the Numidia province, like their counterparts in all the provinces of the Roman Empire, enjoyed the various activities and sports that were known in this deep historical era, just as this province was endowed with the architecture games in which various shows such as theaters, stadiums and amphitheatres were performed, as indicated by the archaeological remains and inscriptions revealed by the archaeological excavations carried out in the region. From there was born the idea of this work calling for the study of the sports facilities built in this province in their generalities and their details, knowing the areas of their diffusion in the cities, their types, the date of their establishment, their specifications, and the architecture, and knowledge of the types of games that took place there, Before continuing the study of these different elements, we must give a brief historical overview of the province of Numidia studied.
