الملخص
هذه الدراسة هي محاولة لفهم النزاعات المجتمعية التي طال أمدها في أفريقيا. معتمدين على مقاربة إدوارد عازار حول النزاعات المجتمعية في العالم الثالث والتي أصبحت ممتدة ومعقدة ومكثفة، وبشكل تدريجي تشهد التدخل للطرف ثالث". فأحد الأسباب الرئيسية للنزاعات الأفريقية كان العرقية والاثنية والذي استمر إلى الان، كما أشار ديفيد ويكس: "النزاع نتيجة حتمية للتنوع البشري وعالم بلا نزاع غير مرغوب فيه، لأنه سيعني عالماً بلا تنوع ". إن إفريقيا قارة متنوعة - عرقيا ودينيا واجتماعيا وثقافيا. "ومن جهة ثانية كان لها نصيب من الحروب بين الدول، وغالبية نزاعاتها كانت مجتمعية عميقة ومتجذرة. وعليه تهدف هذه الورقة إلى توضيح طبيعة النزاعات الأفريقية وإثبات أن التدخلات العسكرية المباشرة غير قادرة على تقليلها أو تسويتها. The present essay is an attempt to understand the protracted social conflicts in Africa. In the previous study on protracted social conflicts in the Third World, Edward. E. Azar described "violent events in the developing world as Protracted Social Conflicts which have become progressively protracted and intense, despite the frequent third party intervention." Indeed, a major cause of African conflicts has been ethnicity and it has continued to be so, as David Weeks noted: "conflict is an inevitable outcome of human diversity and a world without conflict is not desirable, because it would mean a world without diversity". Africa is a diverse continent- diverse in ethnic... religions and socio-cultural terms. "While Africa has had its share of inter-state wars, the majority of its conflicts were deep rooted social conflicts. The objectives of this paper are to elucidate the nature of typical African conflicts and to prove that direct military interventions are not able to reduce or settle them.
