الملخص
تلعب المنظمة البحرية الدولية دورا فاعلا من خلال اضطلاعها بمهمة اعداد اتفاقيات دولية ملزمة والعمل ضمن مشاريع ميدانية بالشراكة مع المنظمات ذات الصلة بهدف مكافحة التلوث ، و التقدم بالمجتمع المعاصر نحو بيئة تجارية تعتمد على نقل بحري مستدام ، وذلك في سبيل الحفاظ على استمرارية اقتصاديات النقل البحري ، خاصة وان تفشي جائحة كورونا اكد على اهمية الاعتماد على هذا الاخير في حركة التجارة العالمية في ظل غلق الدول لأجوائها وحدودها البرية ضمن تدابير الحجر الصحي ، مما يزيد من اعتماديتها على هذا النقل في ضمان الامداد اللوجستي والإمداد المتعلق بالبضائع والمواد الطبية الحيوية ، وبالتالي زيادة نسب التلوث. The International Maritime Organization plays an active role by undertaking the task of preparing binding international agreements and working on field projects in partnership with relevant organizations with the aim of combating pollution and advancing contemporary society towards a commercial environment that depends on sustainable maritime transport, in order to preserve the continuity of the maritime transport economies, Especially since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic stressed the importance of relying on the latter in the global trade movement in light of the countries' closure of their airspace and land borders within the quarantine measures, which increases their dependence on this transport in ensuring the logistical and supply related to goods and vital medical materials, thus increasing pollution rates
