السياحة المستدامة كسبيل للحد من الفقر في الدول النامية Sustainable Tourism As A Mean To Overcome Poverty In Developing Countries

الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز أهمية القطاع السياحي في التنمية الاقتصادية، ومدى مساهمته في القضاء على البطالة وتحسين المستوى المعيشي للبلدان النامية والرائدة في مجال السياحة. وتوصلت الدارسة إلى أن السياحة تعد مورد اقتصادي هام للعديد من دول العالم وخاصة البلدان النامية، وتخلق فرص للعمل والاستثمار بفعل التوسع في النشاط السياحي، فقد بلغت نسبة العمالة في السياحة مقارنة بالعمالة الكلية في مصر 13%، تلتها الهند بنسبة 8.3% وجنوب إفريقيا بــ 7.6%. لكن بشكل عام تبقى مساهمة السياحة المستدامة في التخفيف من حدة الفقر ضعيفة مقارنة بحجم إمكانات واستثمارات هذا المجال. This study aims to highlight the importance of the tourism sector in economic development and its contribution to eliminating unemployment and improving the standard of living of leading tourism developing countries. The study found that tourism is an important economic resource for many countries of the world, especially deveploping countries, and creates jobs and investment due to the expansion of tourism activity, with the proportion of employment in tourism compared to total employment in Egypt about 13%, follwed by India with 8,3% and South Africa 7,6, in general, however, the contribution of sustainable tourism to poverty alleviation remains weak compared to the size of the potential and investments this area. accompanied by good decisions, tourism can contribute to gender equality, preserving the ecosystem and biodiversity, protecting the cultural heritage…all these results are among the goals of sustainable tourism.
